Board of Directors & Staff
ARLA is Governed by a Board of Directors made up from our Membership. The Executive Committee is made up of a Past President, President, 1st Vice President, 2nd Vice President and Secretary/Treasurer. The Board Elects the Executive Committee at the Joint Board Meeting following the Elections. All of these positions are volunteer.
The planning, organizing, and controlling of the Association is vested in its Membership, which is represented by the Board of Directors. There shall not be less than eight and no more than 12 directors elected from among the Members. Elections to the Board are held in October and an email ballot is sent to all membership for voting. The new Board is announced at the Annual General Meeting held in November each year.
The ARLA Board also includes members at large to participate on our various committees throughout the year.
Term of Office:
Each Director shall hold office for a term of two (2) years. One-half (1/2) of the Directors shall be elected each year to affect a staggered replacement plan and create continuity of management.
The office staff is comprised of the Executive Director, Donna Monkhouse, Executive Assistant, Kelsy Demeria and Administrative Assistant Jayda Cooke.
